Interesting to look at the projections now in context of Anthropic alone now at $45bn ARR. Even the most optimistic (last) chart doesn't look aggressive enough.
Ha, great point! Very funny to look back on this moment of skepticism, especially because of how short lived it was. Just a few months later Opus 4.6 came out, kicked off the agentic moment and basically proved that most of our dreams about AI capability were much closer than we thought!
